Abstract

A heating element (10) is located near to the top wall of the oven using ledges (11,13) on the side walls and a main support on the rear wall. The extremities (15) of the element (10) which link with the supply connections (18) are fixed to a supporting plate (17). The extremities and supply connections (15,18) pass through a slot (25) in the rear oven wall (7) which is overlapped by the supporting plate (17). A further plate (7A) overlaps the slot on the outside of the oven and the whole is held in place by sprung nuts and studs (27,30,21).
