Abstract

The ring (1) is joined to a first element (2) in which the lower part of the finger is slid. A second element (3) is articulated on the first element, and the centre of the finger is slid into it. The first and second elements are open at the bottom but their sides are folded inwards. The articulation is formed by a sleeve (4), in the arc of a circle, which is articulated (5) on the second element. A curved rod (6), articulated (7) on the first element, slides in the sleeve.

Description

The present invention relates to a jewel which is intended to be worn by two or three phalanges of a finger.

This jewel is characterized in that it comprises a ring secured to a first element in which the first phalanx of a finger can be slid and relative to which is articulated a second element in which the phalangina of the finger can be slid and held .

In a preferred embodiment of the invention a third element into which the finger phalangette can be slid and held is articulated on the second element.

The articulation connecting two elements of the jewel can be achieved in various ways. However, it is preferably formed by a sleeve in an arc which is articulated on one of the elements and in which a rod can also slide in an arc which is articulated on the other element.

We have described below, by way of nonlimiting examples, two embodiments of the jewel according to 1 invention with reference to the accompanying drawing in which

As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the jewel according to the invention comprises a ring 1 extended by a first element 2 in which can be slid the first phalanx of a finger. A second element 3 into which the second phalanx or phalangina of the finger can be slid is articulated with respect to element 2. These elements are here open at their lower part but the sides are tightened and have folds at their base so as to maintain the phalangina and prevent it from going out.

In the embodiment shown, the articulation of elements 2 and 3 comprises a sheath 4, for example of circular section, the shape of which is in an arc of a circle and which is pivotally mounted at 5 on the element 3; in the sheath 4 can slide a rod 6 also in an arc, of the same section with play near as the sheath 4, and which is articulated in 7 on the element 2. A stop not shown in the drawing prevents the rod 6 from coming out completely from the sheath 4.

To use this jewel, you put a finger, for example on the ring finger, successively in the ring 1, in the element 2 and in the element 3 so that the axis of the articulation connecting the elements 2 and 3 is plumb with the joint between the first phalanx and the phalangina. This articulation means that the jewel does not bother the user and allows him to use his finger normally, for example to hold a pen or a glass or to operate a door handle.

In the embodiment of FIG. 3, a third element 8 into which the finger joint can be slid is articulated on the element 3; like the element 3, this element 8 has tight sides and provided with folds in their lower part so as to maintain the phalangette and to prevent it from going out. This articulation is constituted by a sheath 4a and a rod 6a similar to the sheath 4 and to the rod 6. The jewel has the external appearance of a sword whose handle 9 is external to the ring 1 and each element 2,3 and 8 carries a section 10. This jewel is used like that of FIGS. 1 and 2. The finger is successively slipped into the ring 1, the element 2, the element 3 and the element 8 so that the axes of the joints connecting elements 2,3 and 8 are plumb with the joints on the one hand, between the phalanx and the phalangina, on the other hand between this phalangina and the phalangette. Thanks to these joints the user can normally use his finger.

 It goes without saying that the present invention should not be considered as limited to the embodiments described and shown, but on the contrary covers all variants thereof.

Claims. 1. Jewel, characterized in that it comprises a ring (1) integral with a first element (2) in which the first phalanx of a finger can be slid and relative to which a second element (3) is articulated in which can be slid and held the phalangin of the finger. 2. Jewel according to claim 1, characterized in that an element 8 in which the finger joint can be slid and held is articulated on the element 3. 3. Jewel according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the articulation connecting two elements is formed by a sheath in an arc (4 or 4a) which is articulated on one of the elements and in which can slide a rod (6 or 6a) also in an arc which is articulated on the other element. 4. Jewel according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that each of its elements has the same pattern (10).
