Abstract

The structure is made from a series of separate panels held together by angle elements (3) stuck to their corners.

Description

 The invention relates to the production of an animal kennel using rigid panels of composite material, the complete assembly and disassembly of which is carried out without any tool or any moving part.

 The set no longer has any metal parts.

In order to clarify and simplify the presentation below as well as possible, conventionally the acronym will be used
SVR meaning Laminate Resin Glass.

 According to the terminology of the profession, it will designate a composite material consisting of parallel layers of a woven or non-woven reinforcement based on glass threads linked by a synthetic resin of thermosetting type (polyester, epoxy, vinyl ester, phenolic ...).

 This deposit can be applied to a support (core) such as plywood, for example, and thus constitute a sandwich material as it is advantageously and presently used.

 Naturally, this type of panel is not limiting and any rigid material which may be suitable for mounting the equipment described below can perfectly adapt.

 The technologies used for niches intended for animals (dogs in particular) have hardly evolved for a very long time.

In general, the manufacturing remains traditional, either
Wicker,
Painted wood, varnish ... in all its forms,
Mineral materials (concrete, bricks ...),
Certain plastics, reinforced or not, but
generally molded in one piece, which does not

 Etc.

This has several disadvantages
Putrefaction of the constituents with more or less long
term (wood in particular),
Moisture conservation,
High weight (mineral materials ...),
Conservation, even development of microorganisms

Easy wear by scraping,
Eventually, delicate or impossible disassembly and reassembly

 Etc.

 The design proposed by LMCA is based on the following principle 1. Use of synthetic composite materials.

2. Assembly technology
It greatly solves all or part of the problems mentioned above.

 As previously indicated, the material constituting the core of the panels is advantageously plywood (CTBX for example, chipboard of wood particles (CTBH quality ...) or a rigid synthetic foam (PVC foam, polyurethane , polystyrene ...).

 These panels receive a double-sided surface stratification consisting of glass reinforcements (fabrics, mats ...) linked by a thermosetting type resin (polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy ...) which constitutes a very resistant sandwich.

The resin is possibly classified as food, pigmented or not, painted or not after crosslinking. These panels present both
Corrosion resistance,
Mechanical resistance,
Thermal insulation,
Sound isolation,
Galvanic isolation,
Fire resistance (if required),
Impact resistance.

 Prophylactic and anti-parasitic properties.

 Ease of cleaning.

 Of course, according to the need, the panels can be made of any other rigid material preferably of a nature which cannot be corroded by common chemical agents and bad weather.

 In this case, the niche is completely removable without any tools and completely flat for transport, for example.

 The roof with two slopes (or others) ensures the cohesion of the assembly in the absence of any screwing, stapling or the like.

 A removable internal partition sliding between SVR angles allows the animal to have privacy.

 Likewise, the external access can be closed by a grating or an SVR grid.

 The entire niche does not have any metal parts except possibly in the case of an option, said access closure grid and its slides.

 Whatever the model, the floor rests on four SVR profile feet which are joined to it by gluing, which allows easy cleaning underneath.

 Currently, the floor consists of a chipboard of laminated wood laminated on both sides as indicated above, which ensures both the overall rigidity of the construction and the thermal insulation of the animal.

 The double-sided SVR stratification of this floor can be reinforced on the animal side. It can also receive a deposit of sand or silica so as to provide a non-slip appearance.

A version of the previously described floor is advantageously constituted by a similar model but heating at low temperature. The latter is advantageously made up of three ways
Thin concrete slab with electrical resistance
incorporated, SVR laminate on the surface,
Carbon tissue placed on the surface within the SVR and
traversed by an electric current,
All other integrated systems.

 The power supply is of the low voltage type (12 - 24 or 48 volts) and the energy consumption very reduced (a few tens of W / h).

 Power and temperature regulation is ensured by a simple and reliable electronic system.

 Although the present invention relates to a niche for animals, it is naturally applicable to all removable assemblies such as bungalows, various shelters, crates or containers, the shape and dimensions of which are determined as required.

 In order to better understand the general design, the following summary describes an assembly corresponding to an animal niche.

 Naturally, it would be substantially the same for any other construction including one or more floors.

 The sandwich panels advantageously made up of a plywood core, of agglomerated wood particles (2) or of rigid synthetic foam are covered rectoverso with an SVR sole (1) and then cut to size after crosslinking the resin.

 The edges are then protected by a putty or others.

 One of the two front panels (10) according to FIGS. 1 and 2, comprises the cut necessary for access (6) according to FIG. 4, of the animal.

 The SVR angle profiles (3) are then glued according to Figures 1 and 2 at the edge of some of the panels, either: bottom (4) according to Figures 1 and 3, the two short sides according to Figures 1 and 2 (10) and the roof (5) according to FIGS. 1 and 4.

 The gluing of the SVR angle profiles (8) is carried out in such a way that it takes care, according to FIGS. 1 and 2, of the clearance necessary for the free introduction of the adjacent panels which are thus immobilized.

 This arrangement constitutes a sort of gutter.

 In this way, the four sides are immobilized by simple introduction into the game between angles (3) and edges of the panels.

 Naturally, this would not be sufficient because the play between edges and angle profiles allows the free and not tight introduction of the panels.

 The roof (5) according to FIGS. 1 and 4 then joins the assembly together by simple gravity and by means of its own angle sections (3) which are glued in a sub-slope and visible from the outside.

 Thus the tilting of the front panels is totally retained by their introduction into the gutter formed by the edges of the floor and the angle profiles glued on the periphery.

 As for the panels of the short sides, the process is the same as above, knowing that these panels carry in addition on their vertical sides the angles as indicated above, which retains all the better the residual tilting of the facade panels .

 The roof carrying angle sections at the end of the slope on the right and left sides according to FIGS. 1 and 4 covers the assembly and immobilizes it perfectly.

The niche is isolated from the ground by profiled feet
SVR directly glued to the bottom (7) according to figure 4.

 Thanks to the principle of design exposed above, the construction is assembled and disassembled very quickly without any tools.

According to the above, the assembly can be summarized as follows
Place on the ground or any suitable support on
floor (Figure 3) with its feet.

Insert the side panels (10) into the
gutter formed between edges and angle profiles
of the floor according to Figures 1 and 2.

Place the roof (5) on top of the following sides
figure 4.

 For disassembly, operate in reverse order.

 The industrial applications of the invention are varied because they relate to many products such as cases, bungalows, shelters or various premises with or without floor (s) ...

 The realization calls upon traditional processes based on the techniques of plastics, gluing and carpentry.

 The invention can easily be the subject of significant automation.

 Finally, it is specified that the reinforcements mentioned above, in particular page 2, can be bonded by a polymerizable resin and can be not only based on glass fabrics but also based on carbon fabrics.

Instead of the resins mentioned in the above, moreover, an acrylic resin can also be used.

 Finally, it should be emphasized from the structural point of view that the edges of the panels can be reinforced by any part, including parts comprising a return on the faces of said panels; it is also possible to provide a device for closing the openings made in the panels, this device being able to be mobile, translucent, transparent or perforated.

Claims (7)

 1. Construction, characterized in that it consists of rigid panels independent of each other but kept integral with each other without any part other than angle profiles glued to the edge of a floor, side panels, roof or bottom by an internal face of one of the wings of said angles, these angles providing the clearance necessary for the introduction of said adjacent panels between the edge of the panel in question and the wing remaining free of said angles.  2. Construction according to claim 1, characterized in that the panels consist of a core of wood plywood or particles of agglomerated wood or synthetic foam, laminated on the surface by reinforcements based on mat or glass fabrics or carbon bound by a polymerizable resin.  3. Construction according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the angle profiles glued to the edge of the panels are made of a composite material based on a fibrous glass or carbon reinforcement bonded by a polymerizable resin of polyester, vinyl type. ester, epoxy, phenolic or acrylic.  4. Construction according to any one of claims 1, 2 and 3, characterized in that the roof or the floor maintains the cohesion of all the panels by simple gravity.  5. Construction according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the floor is heated.  6. Construction according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the edges of the panels at their edges or according to their openings are reinforced by all parts including having a return on the faces of said panels.  7. Construction according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises a device, in particular mobile, translucent, transparent or perforated, for closing the openings of the panels.
