Abstract

The cylindrical paste container (1) is open at one end and has in its lower part a cap (2), while in its upper part is an emptying hole (4). The cap has a displacement control which opens the emptying hole and functions in combination with another part such as a tooth brush, whose cover (7) exerts a uniform pressure on the cap. The cap is sealed by two peripheral lips (3). The cap, whose diameter is less than that of the container, moves along its axis towards the emptying hole under the action of user pressure. The cap movement is aided by several internal grooves (9), and can be moved along its axis when the user turns a knurled screw (12) in an internal groove (11).
