Abstract

The hurdle consists of a supporting base with uprights (3) and a crossbar (1) of rectangular cross-section, made from wood, plastics or other material, and equipped with two magnets (2) for attaching it to the uprights.The supporting base can be made from iron, steel or other ferromagnetic material, or from a non-magnetic material. In the latter case it is fitted with two plates of a magnetic material at the top to engage with the magnets. The uprights also have projections (4) for the crossbars to rest on.

Description

-1- The present invention relates to a magnetic holding device

  athletic hurdle slats on their

  executives, to secure the initiation and training of athletes.

  The support of the slats on the athletic hurdles are traditionally rigidly fixed on their frames (compulsory provision for competitions). The safety of the athlete being ensured, in the event of hanging of the hurdle by

  its tilting. This provision does not eliminate the risk of falls, especially among young athletes.

  The device according to the invention overcomes this drawback by securing young athletes and beginners during training. It facilitates the practice of hurdling races and allows you to familiarize yourself with this discipline without any risk, the jumper causing the fall

  latte at the slightest touch. According to a first characteristic, it in fact comprises a slat on which two magnets are fixed which allow it to be held on the hedge frame, the positioning of the slat being obtained by two cleats.

  According to particular embodiments: - The amounts of hedges can be made of a material not attracted by a magnetic flux and include two plates in

  iron, steel, or other material attracted by a magnetic flux.

  - The magnets can be on the uprights and, the slat include two plates of iron, steel, or other

  material attracted by a magnetic flux.

  Figure 6 shows a partial sectional view of a second variant of the device. The slat (1) is of rectangular section made of wood, plastic, or other material; on which are fixed two magnets (2) which allow it to be held on the two hedge uprights (3) made of iron, steel, or other material attracted by a magnetic flux. Two cleats (4) are

  arranged on the hedge uprights (3) in order to obtain the correct positioning of the slat (1).

  The slat (1) is supported on two tabs (4) and held on the hedge uprights (3) only by the magnetic force of the two magnets (2). So when

  the user touches the batten (1), the latter falls easily without causing the jumper to fall or the hedge to tip over.

  In an embodiment according to FIG. 3 & 4, the amounts of hedges (3) of material not attracted by a magnetic flux, are provided with plates (5) of iron, steel, or other material attracted by a magnetic flux. . The slat (1) being equipped with two magnets (2) corresponding to the

two plates (5).

  In an embodiment according to FIG. 5 & 6, the hedge uprights (3) are provided with two magnets (2) of which

  the spacing corresponds to two plates (5) of iron, steel, or other material attracted by a magnetic flux, 30 fixed on the slat (1).

  By way of nonlimiting example, the hedge frame will have the maximum dimension at the base of 120 cm, the dimensions of

  the slats are of the order of 7cm x 1.5 cm for the section and, 120 cm maximum for the length. Depending on the models, the position of the slat can be adjustable in height.

  The device according to the invention is particularly intended for initiation and training in hurdle racing

in athletics.

Claims (3)

  1) Magnetic holding device for athletic hurdle slats on their frames, in order to secure the initiation and training of athletes. Characterized in that it comprises a slat (1) of rectangular section made of wood, plastic or other material; on which are fixed two magnets (2) which allow it to be held on   the two hedge uprights (3> made of iron, steel, or other material attracted by a magnetic flux. Two cleats (4) are arranged on the hedge uprights (3) in order to obtain the correct positioning of the slat (1 ).   2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the hedge uprights (3) are made of a non-material   attracted by a magnetic flux; on which are fixed plates (5) of iron, steel, or other material attracted by a magnetic flux.   3) Magnetic holding device for athletic hurdle slats on their frames, in order to secure the initiation and training of athletes. characterized in that the slat (1), on which are fixed two plates (5) made of iron, steel, or other material attracted by a magnetic flux, the spacing of which corresponds to two magnets (2)   fixed on the hedge uprights (3). The positioning of the slat (1) being ensured by two tabs (4) integral with the hedge uprights (3).
