Abstract

Improvements to the housing elements of electrical connectors of the type having a body comprising, at least, one cavity (16) of rectangular section, one of the long sides (16a) of which comprises a groove (17), said cavity (16) being intended to receive a female electrical contact member (1) with a floor wall (2) and a ceiling wall (5) extended by a bar (6) folded towards the inside of the channel (7) and terminated by a hook ( 8) passing through an opening (9) of the floor wall (2), said improvements being characterized in that the large side (16b) of the cavity (16), opposite to that comprising the groove (17), comprises, cut , a tab (18), the free end of which is turned towards the opening of the cavity (16) through which the electrical contact member (1) is introduced.

the cavity 16 of said member 1.

  The hook 8 being slightly inclined and the ex-

  free end 18a having a slight bevel, the more force,

the more the tab 18 blocks the member 1.

  Of course, the invention is not limited

  to the embodiment which has just been described and represented

R E V E N D I C A T IONS   1. Improvements to the housing elements   of electrical connectors of the type having a body   taking, at least, a cavity (16) of rectangular section, one of the long sides (16a) of which has a groove (17), said cavity (16) being intended to receive a female electrical contact member (1) having, at one end,   means (3) for fixing it to the end of a pipe   electric tor and, at the other end, a channel (7) to   rectangular section intended to receive a male tab   (12), said channel having a floor wall (2),   two side walls (4) and a ceiling wall (5) pro-   skirted on the opposite side to the means (3) by the fixing of a conductor by a bar (6) folded towards the inside of the channel (7) and terminated by a hook (8) crossing a   opening (9) of the floor wall (2), said perfec-   tionnements being characterized in that the large side (16b) of the cavity (16), opposite to that comprising the groove (17), comprises, cut, a tab (18) whose free end is turned towards the side of the opening of the cavity (16) through which the electrical contact member (1) is introduced. 2.
