Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a device for retaining glasses which makes it impossible to lose them in all circumstances.

The systems for holding and retaining existing glasses do not guarantee users against the loss of their glasses, regardless of their method of attachment to the arms; whether it is strips of expanded neoprene, sleeved at their ends to slide over the temples of the glasses, or sheaths which also slip on the temples, or cords connected to the temples by elastic rings; none guarantees them, and the loss of glasses is even more frequent among certain sportsmen, such as surfers, windsurfers and water skiers who undergo the violent shocks of the waves.

For sports on the water, there are also glasses retention systems, equipped with floats, but these under the turbulence of the waves, escape despite everything to the users and the glasses are often lost.

The device according to the invention, overcomes these drawbacks, it consists in using two suttisistantly long half-cords to be tied around the neck of the user, after having previously been gathered behind his head by a slider which keeps the glasses adjusted on his face.

At the exit of the cursor, the two remaining lengths of cord separate again and come to meet on each side of the user's neck, who can then connect them to form only one cord around his neck and can no longer escape him.

In a preferred, but non-limiting embodiment, the invention consists of two sufficiently long parts of a bead of glasses, preferably flat for better comfort. The two parts or sections of cord are connected on the one hand to the branches of the glasses, either by one or more elastic rings, or by a sheath which is threaded on the branches if the sections used are in the form of a sheath, the two sections then meet through an adjustment slider on the user's face.
