Abstract

The femoral shaft of a hip prosthesis has, at the distal part and/or at the proximal part, holes (1c) for the engagement, if necessary, of fastening screws, the said holes being closed, before impaction of the shaft (1), by members (3) which can be pierced through or can be removed.
