Abstract

Component with two assembled shells making it possible to accommodate a threaded or smooth rod. This component is simpler and less expensive than an undercut component with a blind hole on one side and squashed and drilled on the other. This component can also be made of a single piece. This component has the particular feature of being able to accommodate a tapped knurled sleeve allowing very accurate adjustment (no more problem of the half turn) of the pressure switch. This adjustment operation can also be carried out in the case of the pressure switch assembled on the turbo. Reduction in fitting time, precision therefore considerably lowered cost.
