Ces solutions qui apportent quelques avantages à la consommation de repas en position non attablé, comme par exemple une meilleure prise sur l'assiette ou encore la possibilité de loger ou fixer un verre sur l'assiette ont néanmoins des inconvenients constants, qu'on retrousre dans chaque solution ci-dessus decrite, à savoir:
-la transmission de chaleur à la main qui tient le récipient, lors qu'on consomme des mets chauds
-la stabilité très précaire du verre quand il est simplement posé sur l'assiette(problème de baricentre surélevé) même si son pied est encerclé par un alvéole
-le déséquilibre de I'assiette provoqué par une masse et un poids importants, tel qu'un verre plein, qui se trouvent sur sa périphérie
-I'impossibilité de remettre en température ou de cuire ensemble des aliments variés necessitant des temps de cuisson ou de remise en température differents et d'autres qui ne necessitent pas de remise en temperature ou cuisson comme par exemple les desserts
- l'impossibilité de choisir un menu composé de mets differents et en conditionnements indépendants

La figure 1 montre le principe de l'invention selon un premier mode de mise en oeuvre.Le dispositif de prise de repas se compose d'un moyen formant poignée 10, constitué par une boîte à boisson, pourvu sur le bord circulaire de son extrémité supérieure de moyens de solidarisation, représentés dans cette figure par des pattes d'acrochage verticales 12 régulièrement réparties sur sa périphérie en nombre égal à celui des récipients 14 à solidariser.
