Abstract

The handle is designed for use on hand tools, which are used for screwing and unscrewing. It consists of a lever arm (3), which is manufactured from a length of chain, which is articulated in one plane. At one extremity the lever arm is fitted with a cylindrical handle. The other end of the length of chain is fitted to a tool carrier or directly to the tool itself. This is fitted in such a way that the lateral rigidity of the chain corresponds to the normal direction of use of the tool. The flexibility of the chain in the other plane allows the tool to be used in situations of difficult access.
