Abstract

Compositions containing three compounds which have, respectively, isothiocyanate, thiocarbamate, and thiourea groups attached to benzene rings, are new. The compsns. are obtd. from extracts of Pentadiplandra Brazzeana, and contain propyl 2-anisyl-1-methyl isothiocyanate (I), ethyl N-benzyl thiocarbamate (II) and N,N-dibenzyl thiourea (III). USE - As a syrup, the compositions are useful in the treatment of functional metrorrhagia and as a powerful venous tonic. As a pomade the compositions may be used to trap free radicals.

Les trois composés ainsi décrits peuvent être obtenus à l'etat pure par extraction à partir de la plante connue sous le nom scientifique de PENTADIPLANDRA BRAZZEANA
La methode d'extraction des trais éléments est décrite dans la demande de brevet déposée à l'C.A.P.I. sous le na 54335. Une fois extraite de leur milieu naturel l'on obtient trois composés se présentant sous forme de poudre plus ou moins blanche.3-N, N-DIBENZYLTHIOUREE:

Ces trois éléments sont mis en association dans les proportions suivantes:

Claims

1) -Composition for therapeutic use constituted by the association of three compounds with benzenic nuclei having isothiocyanate, thiocarbamate and thiourea portions.

2) -Composition according to claim characterized in that the three compounds from natural source are extracted from rentadiplandra Brazzeana.

3) -Composition according to claims 1 and 2 characterized in that the first element is: ANISYL - 2 METHYL - 1 ISOTHIOCYANATE

OF PROPYLEP the second the N-BENZYLTHIOCARBOMATE of ETHYLE and the third the N, N-DIBENZYLTHIOUREE.

4) -Composition according to claims 1, 2 and 3 characterized in that the dosage of the mixture is carried out in the proportions of

5) -Composition according to claims 1 to 4 characterized in that the product prepared in any one of the administrable forms is used in the treatment of functional metrorrhagia as well as as a venous tonic.
