Abstract

The armrest is affixed to the side door of a vehicle. It can be moved between two positions and in the collapsed position it forms a handle to operate the door of the vehicle. It is made up of two half shells (1 and 2) where one is affixed to the door (3) and can be placed one in contact with the other to form the handle.
