Abstract

The waste bin, for use in the home, work place or in public locations, consists of a container or a frame (200) acting as a support for a sack which is held open at the top by a ring (21) or the upper rim of a container. The sacks are on a roll which is contained in a dispenser (18) with a slot (20), situated on the bottom of the frame or container. When the bin is in the shape of a cylindrical container it can have a base with a diametrical slot in it through which the sacks can be fed from a roll on a rod fitted beneath the base. The slot in the base can be equipped with one or more retaining elements to prevent the sacks from slipping back through the slot. ADVANTAGE - Easier sack replacement and improved hygiene.
