Abstract

An attachment for handling skips has two slides (4) one on each side of an arched handle (1), with two bearings (2) turned inwards towards the skip. The skip may be manoeuvred as follows : The arched handle (1) is lowered from point A to point B on the slides, where it is locked. Raising the handle rotates the skip & empties it. To get the skip back to the loading position it is rested on the ground & the movements previously described are repeated in the same order. USE/ADVANTAGES : Fully automatic improved handling safety obviates requirement for men to unlock catches to rotate skip.
