Abstract

The invention relates to an applicator for stick cosmetic products, including a body provided with two parts (1, 2) coupled coaxially and capable of turning with respect to each other so that, by means of an internal mechanism, the stick cosmetic can emerge and retract, whilst a cover (4) articulated on the body is provided with suspension means. The applicator according to the invention is noteworthy in that the cover (4) is provided with arms (5) for its articulated linking to the body, which arms include, on their inner face and at the start of the arms, internal embossing or projections which exert, in the closure position, sufficient pressure on the lateral wall of the body to permit the stability of the cover (4) in the said closure position. In addition, the cover advantageously includes an outer extension which extends in the plane determined by the arms (5) and which is provided longitudinally with an orifice (9) for the passage of a cord or any other element permitting suspension.
