Abstract

Sports shoe and, more particularly, a shoe intended for cycling, of the type consisting of a rigid sole (1) on which the vamp (upper) (2) and an upper (ankle part) (3) are mounted, the vamp (2) being associated with a tongue (4) and with means (5) making it possible to tighten the assembly around the foot after positioning, the upper (3), the vamp (2) and the tongue (4) covering over only the foot and leaving total freedom at the level of the ankle. It is characterised in that the tongue (4), produced from leather or a conventional synthetic material, includes a notched end edge (6) so as to bear on the instep in a zone which is set back with respect to normal bearing, bearing in this zone being obtained by means of a complex material (7), which is flexible and shock-absorbing, forming an integral part of the said tongue (4) and extending beyond the upper end (6) of the latter.

Pour ce faire, et ainsi que cela ressort clairement de la vue en élévation (figure 2) représentant la structure d'une telle languette, elle comporte, au niveau de son bord extrême (B), une partie échancrée (6) permettant un appui de la surface inférieure concave de ladite languette sur le cou-de-pied de l'utilisateur, légèrement en retrait par rapport à une zone d'appui normale. Pour assurer une immobilisation dans cette zone, ltextémité de la languette est associée à une bande d'un matériau complexe souple (7), amortissant, qui forme partie intégrante de la structure de la languette et déborde à l'extrémité supérieure de cette dernière.Pour réaliser un tel ensemble, on réalise dans les éléments constitutifs, en cuir ou tout matériau synthétique, formant la languette (4) proprement dite, une coupe ou échancrure (6) en creux. Eventuellement, le dessus de la languette peut comporter, comme représenté aux figures 2 et 2a, un renfort additionnel (13) également cousu sur le dessus (10) de la languette. En procédant d'une telle manière, on obtient donc une chaussure telle qu'illustrée à la figure 1, et dans laquelle la languette (4) comporte dans son bord extrême venant en contact avec la zone du cou-de-pied de l'utilisateur, une matière amortissante éliminant tous risques de gêne ou blessures. Dans la forme de réalisation illustrée dans laquelle cette matière amortissante est constituée d'un complexe tissu velours/mousse, il a été constaté qu'une telle structure dans laquelle les côtes du velours sont orientées dans le sens longitudinal, améliorait le confort et présentait une très bonne résistance à l'usure.Such a fabric is cut in a substantially ovoid shape as illustrated in FIG. 3, the ribs of the velvet being arranged in the direction of the large dimension.
