Abstract

Medical apparatus intended for the re-education (rehabilitation) of the faculty of balance of the human body and of walking. The invention relates to a training apparatus consisting of a base (1) on which a plate (2) is articulated; between these first two elements there is a hydraulic cushion (pad) (3); a valve (4) at the centre of the plate makes it possible to regulate the flow of the liquid. The assembly is surmounted by a frame (5) on which a dial (6) is fastened. When the patient bears his weight on one side of the plate, the liquid is expelled by the pressure and it is braked by the valve which therefore slows down the movement of the plate. The user is able to perceive his action by looking at the needle which moves over the dial. This apparatus is intended for everyone whose motor faculties (abilities, functions) are affected by disorders of any any origin.

La rééducation de l'équilibre du-corps humain est traditionnellement effectuée sur des planches qui repusent sur une houle ou demie sphère, ou sur des ressorts ,voire de mini trampolines. Ceci requiert une certaine dextérité , et un sens de l'équilibre rapidement retrouvé , ce qui peut sans doute trés bien convenir à des personnes jeunes, sportives, mais certainement pas à des personnes qui sortent d'un traumatisme grave , ou qui sont d'un âge avancé .Dans ce dernier cas,les risques de chute sont à prévenir, les réflexes par ailleur, sont considérahlement amoindris , il devenait donc impératif de concevoir un plateau à amplitude control lable et adaptable à chaque cas pathologique
