Abstract

The invention relates to accessories for sportsmen who engage in muscle-building (weight-training) exercises. The garment of the invention is of the type including at least one part which is designed to partially cover the trunk, the said part having a plurality of pockets (5A;5B) designed to receive weights (19;21), the said pockets (5A;5B) being positioned so that the weights (19;21) in the said pockets (5A,5B) can be evenly distributed about a vertical plane of symmetry (16) down the human body. Thus, the garment according to the invention enables load-bearing muscle-building exercises to be combined with technique exercises, these exercises usually being practised separately. In addition, since the pockets are arranged in a pattern symmetrical about a vertical plane of symmetry down the human body, the sense of balance of the wearer will not be affected when wearing a garment of this type.

Claims

1.
