Abstract

Method of manufacturing plastic articles, especially seats comprising a base (10) and parts erected on the said base, such as a back-rest and/or arm-rests (11, 11a). The base (10) and the other parts (11, 11a) of the seat are firstly produced, by injection-blow moulding, and next the said parts are assembled together by the cooperation of the shapes of male (30, 31) and female (20, 21) means, assembly taking place while the base (10), including the female means (20, 21), has not yet cooled down entirely, so that the shrinkage which accompanies the cooling-down of the plastic immobilises, by blocking, the male means in the female means.
