Abstract

Apparatus for measuring the level of water in batteries of accumulators for motor vehicles. The invention relates to an apparatus which visualises and measures the level of water above the plates of the batteries. It consists of a translucent cylindrical body (1) in which a float (2) moves according to the upthrust of the water. This float is provided at its top end with a coloured pellet (4) which makes it possible directly to read, on the graduations of the translucent body (1), the height of water above the plates on which the apparatus is placed.
