Abstract

The present invention relates to a small pocket stove consisting of a small, thin, lightweight rectangular metal piece comprising three distinct parts. The central part or burner is ribbed around its perimeter to form a little holder for containing any kind of solid, pasty or liquid fuel whether loose or packaged [in a container] and of any type or shape and packaging [however contained]. The central burner is extended on both sides by two identical extremities which, by virtue of appropriate recesses [openings], forms the supporting arms and legs which can easily be raised together perpendicularly to the horizontal plane of the burner because of an air hole [recess, opening] in the middle which assists in folding the stove for use. The base of the legs comprises notches in which various objects (twigs, matches, etc.) can be placed so that the loaded stove does not sink into soft ground (sand, mud, etc.). This small pocket stove has been especially designed to give excellent performance in as short a time as possible and to fit under any container, especially round food tins, and to be portable in clothes or packs of any kind and usable anywhere in complete safety.

Description

MINI - DISPOSABLE STOVE
The present invention relates to a disposable pocket mini-stove, of low weight and reduced bulk, designed to be stored and delivered flat, made up of a thin metal plate to be easily implemented by folding the ends serving as feet to the seat and support to a container.

There are currently certain models of so-called disposable stoves made up of one or more parts, which can be used either by crossing the elements or by assembling them, or by straightening the ends which then constitute the upper parts supporting elements of the container, or arms, and the feet of the stove at the bottom.

The important development of outdoor activities (hiking - equestrian - mountaineering - excursions - camping-caravanning - speleology - photographic hunting - fishing - hunting - picnic) - activities particularly recommended by the medical profession - benefiting from wide publicity media, greatly favored the development of the food industry of canning and dietetics.

Quickly adapting to demand, these industries have developed efficient preservation techniques and processes to offer new generations of so-called "cooked dishes" of a wide variety of recipes, - packaged in trays and round boxes, ready to consume after traditional reheating (gas - bain-marie - microwave or self-heating system incorporated.)
Because of the quality and balanced composition of their energy and dietetic value, controlled and mentioned on the container, their long-term conservation without storage constraints and their very low price, generally lower than the price of a sandwich, hot dog or other fast food recipe, this new generation of canned food is experiencing rapid development which will modify the eating habits of a growing part of the population (itinerant professionals - construction sites - road users - etc.)
A certain number of companies are already interested in different so-called self-heating systems, in order to reach this important layer of itinerant consumers.

Disposable stoves on the market are generally designed to use only one type of fuel, their structure does not allow the use of fuel of a different nature (solid - pasty liquid) or to accept all types of packaging. existing, especially the standard round I / 2 or 4/4 cans, in which impressive quantities of extremely varied cooked dishes are packaged.

It is to overcome these drawbacks that we have imagined according to the present invention, a mini-pocket metal safety catch, of very small weight and of reduced size, simple and ultra fast implementation, extremely robust, capable of withstand heavy loads without deformation and high stability.

This pocket mini-stove is sized to be adaptable to all types of containers used by the users concerned, in particular all known tins, containing food or cooked dishes to be reheated.

It can be accommodated, without any problem, in civil and military food rations, as well as in all packaging, luggage, and clothing pockets of users, as well as in - on - or in packaging on packaging - cans of canned food or of survival.

This mini pocket stove (plate I - figure I) according to the present invention consists of a stamped metal plate of small thickness and light weight, which can be stored flat, and comprising 3 main parts (A - B - C ).

When the mini-stove is used, the 2 parts (t and B) are folded vertically to the horizontal plane of the central part (C) which forms the combustion hearth.

The central part C which constitutes the combustion hearth, is connected to the elements A and B, by the extension of the shoulder (13.14) formed by the clearance on the inner side of the feet (I to 4).

The 2 elements A and B do not project beyond the central part C, the mini-stove does not provide any protrusion which could affect its packaging, its manipllation, its use and its adaptability to all known containers.

The feet (I to 4) could tend to sink into a loose soil such as sand - muddy ground - etc ... To eliminate this drawback the central base of each foot (I to 4) has a small notch (I7 .18, I9.20) intended to overlap, and make them rest on any object such as twigs - matches - etc ... (21 - board
I - figure 2).

The periphery of the combustion hearth (C) is adorned with a rib (I5) sufficient to form a bowl or retention tank for a fuel that may be poured in bulk, either in powder form - in granules - in pieces or any other physical form, either also in bulk, to a pgte fuel - gel - liquid - viscous, it being understood that it accepts all the better any fuel of any kind and physical form whatsoever, housed or not in a package or overpack.

The central part of the combustion hearth can also be ribbed (16) in any shape, to favor the correct positioning of a fuel in the center of the hearth.

As designed, this "disposable" mini pocket stove has the following advantages

By way of nonlimiting example, we will describe below, some prototypes of mini-stoves that we have produced for the development of the disposable pocket mini-stove, the subject of this patent.

Designed on the basis of the disposable pocket mini-stove (board I - figures I.2.3) the free ribbed sides (I5) of the hearth (C) are each extended by a rectangular wing or flap protecting the total length of the hearth (24.25). Each wing or flap has a slightly smaller width (26.27) than the support arms of the ends A and B so as to tire a sufficient ventilation window between the upper horizontal part of the wing and the bottom of the container.

Each wing (24.25) connected to the hearth C has one or more recesses (22.23) to promote ventilation and folding of the wings. When the 2 wings (24.25) are raised more or less vertically, the hearth forms a bowl which provides protection against wind, drafts, and masks in large part, the glow of the flame in the event of camouflage, all ensuring efficient combustion.

It can be made recesses on the upper horizontal part of each wing (28 - Figure 6) if we provide this stove with wings of width identical to the height of the support arms of the hearth, this to ensure better lift , better weather protection and more effective camouflage.

In order to give a larger seat to containers of a certain size, the dimensions of this mini-stove have been slightly increased (Figure 7.8.9).

I) - The ends A and B of the mini pocket stove I and II have been
widened, as well as the impasto of the feet (I to 4) of the arms
(5 to 8), the recesses (9 to I2), as well as the width of the
combustion hearth (C).

22) - The side wings (24.25) have been extended and exceed the
total length of the combustion chamber C. The ends of the

Identical in structure to mini-stove III, on board 3 in figure 7, this model has also been fitted with a fixing system which improves its resistance under very heavy loads and allows it to stay in shape permanently after being fitted. without risk of being deformed during handling or storage.

To do this, each end of the trapezoidal lateral wings (24.25) has been provided in its upper part with a fixing tab (3I) which can be introduced into the corresponding slots (32), formed in the upper part of each arm ( 5 to 8) of the ends A and B, and then be turned over behind it, to freeze the assembly (33).

The wings of this model can also have a width identical to the height of the hearth (Figure I4), and include one or more recesses (30) in order to improve ventilation. The slots thus formed ensure better stability of the container. In this case, the fixing tabs (34) are positioned at the level of the slots (32) which cannot be moved from their initial position (FIG. II).
