Abstract

This invention relates to an automatic food dispenser for animals, in particular for a dog. The distributor comprises a device (2) which supports a store of food (3) feeding a supply and metering appliance (4), and a control appliance (5) which is linked operationally to the abovementioned means. These means control the supply and metering appliance so as to obtain a dispensing of defined quantities of feed, at fixed time intervals, into a feeding dish accessible to the animal.

Description

Cette invention a pour objet un distributeur automatique d'aliment pour animaux, en particulier pour chien. The subject of this invention is an automatic feed distributor for animals, in particular for dogs.

Un des principaux problèmes des propriétaires d'animaux, particulièrement des chiens, consiste à pourvoir à l'entretien de ceux-ci durant leur absence à l'occasion de vacances ou de voyage en genéral. Automatic dispenser according to one of claims 11, 12, 13 and 14, characterized in that the bowl is rotatably mounted about an axis (14a) essentially horizontal and in that there are provided means for driving the rotation of the bowl activated by the control unit and connected to the pump for actuation during rotation of the bowl.

16. Automatic dispenser according to claim 15, characterized in that the bowl (9) is fixed to a horizontal shaft rotating around its axis and supporting a cam which activates the pump for a predetermined arc of rotation of the bowl.
