Abstract

The invention comes within the scope of improving hygiene, especially in the agri-foodstuffs, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. A device in accordance with the invention consists of a pedestrian corridor (1) with a passageway (4) for each leg, the two passageways (4) comprising, along their side and along their base, washing means, i.e. spray jets (nozzles) (8) and brushes (9), and water supply means. The advantage of this device is that it can be installed as a passage through which people are obliged to pass and it can be used in complete safety.
