Abstract

The invention relates to a device which, installed over plants: - isolates them from external solar radiation - and allows moisture coming from the ground: - to condense on the threads on the internal side of the film, - to pass, by capillary action, from the outer side of the film, - to evaporate by heat effect. It consists of a shutting-out film (1) of slight thickness and of multi-strand threads (12) which pass through it and convey the water. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for the field of agriculture.

Description

 The present invention relates to a composite textile film which makes it possible to obscure light, permeable to water, permeable to calf vapor and for agricultural use.

 These characteristics are traditionally obtained thanks to fabrics, knits, nonwovens, the manufacture of which is expensive.

 The film according to the invention overcomes this drawback by simple manufacturing. I1 includes: A thin blackout film and wires that pass through this film on both sides.

 The film, although it is said to be crossed by the wires, retains its blackout power while the wires convey water.

 Thus, when the filtn is installed above plants it isolates them from outside solar radiation and allows moisture from the soil to condense on the wires, to pass by capillarity from the inside of the film to the outside and then evaporate.

According to the particular embodiments:
- The film can be a black plastic film, blackout, and thin enough to maintain good flexibility.

 - The material of this film can be a material whose surface tension is lower than that of water in order to limit the condensation of the latter on the surface of the film.

 - The wire may be black.

 - The thread can be a multifilament in order to have a larger functional surface.

 - The thread can be textured to fill its passage hole through the film.

 - The thread can be introduced through the film by a knitting process, by a coutlne process, by a malimo process.

 - The gauge used allows the regulation of the permeability of the composite film to water vapor and to light.

 - A reflective surface can be introduced during stitching.

- The stitching point can be straight.

 With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a film (1) yes is blackout and several wires (2) whose black color and their texturing prevent the passage of light.

 R by way of nonlimiting example, the film will have a thickness of the order of 0.1 L i mm, an area varying with the area of the holdings to be covered. The yarn will be a multifilament with a title of the order of 600 dtex.

 i) Device which allows the light to be obscured and which is permeable to water and water vapor, characterized in that it comprises a film (1) through which wires (2) pass.  2) Device according to claim i, characterized in that the film (i) is made of blackout black plastic.  3) Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the film (L) is made with a material of low surface tension.  4) Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the wire (2) is black.  5) Device according to resendication i, characterized in c that the wire (2) is a multifilament.  6) Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the thread (2) is a textured thread.  7) Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the wire (2) has a surface tension greater than that of the batten.  8) Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a reflecting surface (3) is introduced during the stitching.  9) Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the stitching point is a straight point.
