Abstract

The present invention enables inclines to be measured by taking a reading directly from the apparatus, or an incline to be chosen in advance so that it can be transferred onto any surface. The apparatus according to the invention is made up of a rigid body (1) consisting of a straight and flat base (2) fitted with two lengthening pieces (3) to be placed on the slope to be measured, which base is surmounted by a rounded part (5) or a part of any other shape, which is divided into degrees and which contains a flat transparent cylindrical casing (8) half filled with a coloured liquid which can be seen through two strips (7) perforated in the shape of arcs of circles. The surface of this liquid which can be viewed through the perforated strips determines the desired measurement and, by virtue of a movable ruler (12) fixed to the rounded part (5) and which is placed on the graduation thus determined, it is possible to mark out a reference point or draw a line. The movable ruler (12) can also be used to draw one or more angles determined in advance without the use of the liquid, by placing it on one or more of the desired graduations.

L'appareil selon l'invention est constitué d'un corps rigide(l) composé d'une base droite et plate(2) à poser sur la pente à mesurer et qui contient deux allonges(3) placées à chacune de ses extrêmités et que l'on tire jusqu'à ce que deux tétons(4) en assurent le blocage lorsqu'on veut avoir une plus grande surface d'appui et donc une plus grande précision dans la mesure,et surmonté d'une partie arrondie(5) ou de toute autre forme,et graduée en degrés. Ces graduations sont inscrites de chaque côté de l'appareil et se continuent sur la partie droite et plate(2)pour faciliter le traçage et peuvent être d'autant plus précises que l'appareil sera plus grand. Ce corps est conçu en deux parties en matière plastique incassable ou de toute autre matière,assemblées par deux vis(6) ou par tout autre moyen de fixation.Deux bandes ajourées en forme d'arcs de cercle(7) permettent de voir un liquide coloré contenu dans un boîtier cylindrique plat(8) en matière plastique transparent et étanche,placé dans un logement ajusté à son diamètre extérieur par des entretoises(9) lequel n'est rempli qu'à moitié. La surface de ce liquide aperçue par les bandes ajourées(7) détermine la mesure de l'inclinaison par lecture directe.
