Abstract
Description
The invention relates to water purifying devices from a membrane filter with tangential filtration of the kind comprising an inlet of unfiltered water and two outlets one reserved for filtered water and the other reserved with unfiltered water.
The known devices of the kind in question are of two types a) that marketed by the French company FITAMM which comprises an inlet and two outlets, of which that corresponding to unfiltered water is opposite the inlet, in other words totally independent of the chamber containing the filter: a single valve makes it possible to pass from the filtered water position to the unfiltered water position; b) that marketed by the French company ESSER which has an inlet and an outlet, in other words the unfiltered water circuit is also completely independent of the chamber containing the filter: a push button with two positions allows the passage of filtered water - water unfiltered.
These two devices have two drawbacks a) it is not possible to have filtered water and unfiltered batten simultaneously; #b) to clean the filter it must be dismantled: the frequency of the intervention being a function of the quality of the charged water used.
The invention aims to produce a device of the type in question in which the above-mentioned drawbacks are eliminated.
To this end, it relates to an assembly for which the arrival of unfiltered water communicates directly and only with the chamber which, on the one hand, surrounds the filtering wall of the filter that part of the water passes through to be recovered. filtered by the corresponding outlet and which, on the other hand, comprises an opening putting in direct communication the unfiltered water surrounding said chamber with the corresponding outlet so as to clean at the same time the surface of the filtering wall.
The characteristics and advantages of the invention will appear more clearly on reading the following detailed description of a preferred embodiment of the invention given by way of example only and shown in the accompanying drawing which is a view in section of the device according to the invention.
The device shown comprises a body (12) having an inlet (1) for unfiltered water inlet and two outlets (2) and (3) for filtered water and unfiltered water respectively.
It also comprises - a chamber (4) in which is housed the membrane filter (5) with tangential filtration of diametrical dimensions smaller than those of the chamber so as to release a volume surrounding said filter in which the unfiltered water circulates ; - An opening (6) in direct communication with the unfiltered water surrounding said chamber with the corresponding outlet (3) so as to clean the surface of the filtering wall at the same time.
L'arrivée (1) étant en communication directe et unique avec la chambre (4).The arrival (1) being in direct and unique communication with the room (4).
The chamber surrounding the filter is sealed at these two ends on the one hand by an O-ring (9) on which it bears and on the other hand by the flat seal (10) located in the bottom of the plug (11) allowing the filter to exit.
The outlets (2) and (3) may include autonomous valves (7) and (8) allowing them to be closed at will.
The device can be screwed directly onto a standard tap (13): a sealing ring (14) being interposed between (I) and (13).
The device can also be inserted on the path of an existing pipe through its single inlet (1) and its outlet of unfiltered water (3).
The filter body (5) slightly exceeds the chamber (4) so as to compress the seal (10) to ensure a perfect seal.
To increase the efficiency of the filter cleaning, hot water can be sent into the device from the inlet pipe (13).
In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the input-output (1) and (3) are in opposition.
Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiment described and shown for which we can provide other variants, use all types of materials and filters and extend it to other applications without departing from the part of the invention.
