Abstract

The invention relates to the device for guiding a truck, serving as a work station. This device avoids getting the truck down in order to guide it. This guidance device makes it possible, on the one hand, to guide the truck automatically with the aid of a front guide head (R5) in the event of forwards operation, which is applied through the use of a lever (R2), of a linkage (R3) and of an arm (R1) onto a single non-supporting rail (R6) and thus guides the guiding wheels (R8). Simultaneously, the rear guide head (R5) detaches from the rail (R6). In the event of operating in reverse the principle is reversed. This guidance device makes it possible, on the other hand, to eliminate the automatic guidance of the truck by means of a neutral position of the guide heads (R5), both detached from the rail (R6): the steering wheel (R7) then orientates the guiding wheels (R8). The device according to the invention is particularly intended for trucks acting as a work station in crops grown in rows.
