Abstract

The invention relates to a device allowing the flapping of the shutter and the fastening of an espagnolette; the device is both stable owing to its design and firm owing to its material. It consists of two parts: the part within, namely the tips of screws, gives it stability in use; the visible part, either solid or hollowed-out, straight or with a part turned back at right angles, allows flapping and fastening. This piece is placed at the top and at the bottom of the "board". The device according to the invention is particularly intended for small iron work in the building industry for all openings - windows and french doors - with a straight or hooked espagnolette.

Description

SPANISH BEATING AND HANGING
The present invention relates to a device which serves both as a shutter stopper and as a hook for the spanish.

It comes under the hardware of the building.

Until now, two shutter attachment systems are known.

On the one hand, there is a shutter stop known as "beating gendarme hat", which, in use, turns out not to be stable, turns on itself (too violent closing of the shutters, strong gusts of wind ...). It should be noted that it is only mounted on one screw.

On the other hand, there is a shutter hook in the form of a straight piston. In fact, there are two separate pistons, one used for flapping the flap and the other for hanging the spangles. This is detrimental to the aesthetic side, and constitutes a fragile point for masonry - due to its location at the edge of the "painting".

The device according to the flapping and hooking of espanette aims to remedy the major drawback, namely the lack of stability.

Indeed, this part - the flapping / hooking - is pegged and retracted in force using the hammer; its solidity comes from the fact that there are two screw points - as can be seen in each of Figures 1,2,3 and 4.

The hanging consists of two separate parts.

For the straight part (Figures 1 and 3) - a visible part: 2 cm in height, 6 cm in length a "retracted" part: the screw points 3 cm in length
For the square piece (Figures 2 and 4) - there is a 2 cm return, with an iron section for the hollowed-out square - 8 mm square (Figure 4).

In all four cases, these are fixed parts.

One being at the top of the "table", the other at the bottom of the same table. These metal parts can be bi-chrome or zinc plated for protection against the weather.

The shutter beats against the right piece or at right angles (high and low).

As for the attachment, there are two types of spanish adaptable to the invention - a hook spanish (with angled tip) see Figures 2.4.

- a straight spanish called "marseillaise" see Figures 1.3.

This system of flapping and hanging of spanish prevents rabbets in the masonry tables.

Figure N "1 represents a flapping / hooking of straight and solid iron plate with two screw rods at the ends.

In figure N "2, the metal part is also solid and straight iron but with a square return; the two screw rods at the ends.

Figure Ne4 shows a hollow, straight metal part with a return to the square and two screw rods at the ends.

This flap flap and hooking of espanette is capable of industrial application.

Indeed, if we consider that for each apartment, there are several openings (window, French window) and that two pieces are required per opening (upper part / lower part of the flap and hanging of spangles). Manufacturing can easily be envisaged on an industrial scale.
