Abstract
Description
DES5RIPTION
The present invention relates to a system for placing a lure in the top of a tree for hunting at a fixed position.
The lures used in the present invention are live birds, usually wood pigeons, wood pigeons or other species.
They can be replaced by the use of articulated or static artificial lures.
Live lures are attached to a pallet. The pallet according to the present invention consists of a cradle holding the bird with two openings for the passage of the legs, it is provided with a suitable perch to support the bird and means of attachment for holding the legs on said perch. This pallet is made mobile by a pivot axis and the basoule movement is latched by a horn attached to the back of the cradle and water drawn from the ground. This tilting causes an imbalance of the volatile, generating a flapping of wings which makes it even more attractive.
Known systems are currently bogged down by the difficulties caused during their implementation. The precarious positioning of the living lure on a poorly adapted support often causes the loss of free space of the latter which remains hung by the legs on its laces of attachment.
Known systems are also penalized for their lack of height. Indeed, they do not usually allow without a guidance system to reach more than ten meters in height; the first condition being the dominant position of the lure in the treetops to attract other birds.
The purpose of the lure positioning system according to the invention is to remedy this lack of height and is made up for this purpose of a filiform element such as cable or cord ensuring the straightness of the disnositi =.
This element is placed in position using means known to all: slingshot, bow, etc. This threadlike element is intended to be fixed to the top of the tree using a slip knot and stretched at ground using a stake. On this filiform element is guided a set of rods provided with interlocking elements and locking elements to each other and lateral guides of ou1sume-nt; the upper rod being provided with lure support means. The locking elements are of the spring type avoiding the twisting of the rods around the threadlike element. This locking system has the important role of being able to move from the ground, orienting the whole, therefore the lure in the wind direction, also to avoid the dislocation of the rods in case of catching on the descent of the assembly. This set of rods has at its upper end an offset bayonet-shaped rod supporting the pallet on which the lure is fixed.
According to a variant not illustrated, a horizontal rod can be provided supporting one or more lures to replace the remote rod in the form of a bayonet. The system can be made of light metal or composite materials.
The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention. Figure 1 shows the overview of the system according to the invention, Figure 2 shows the pallet, Figure 3 shows the guide element seen from the side and Figure 4 shows a rod with the guide element, its casing and its locking system 1w.
The present invention consists of a filiform element 1 and thanks to an appropriate guide 3 of helicoidal shape, formed by a complete turn terminated at each of its ends by two parallel parts and fixed on each rod element 2 which follows a pivoting of ninety degrees, holds the threadlike element 1 prisoner and allows the rod 2 to slide thereon; the rod elements 2 are thus fitted and locked by a system 13 one after the other and guided on the taut filiform element 1, acquire a perfect rigidity and straightness. Beforehand, the first rod element 2 A was fixed with the aid of the bayonet-shaped offset rod 6, the pallet 7 equipped with its lure. The purpose of the bayonet-shaped rod is to move aside the pallet 7 supporting the lure of the filiform element 1. The pallet 7 is composed of an original cradle 4 giving it a semi-cylindrical shape keeping the lure in the ideal position. To this end, the latter is provided with two lateral openings 5 allowing the passage of the lure's legs which are fixed on the perch 12 by means of attachment 8 composed of a lace and leather strap. This pallet is mounted using an axis 9, this yes allows by pulling a cord 10 maneuvered from the ground to tilt it from the forty-five degrees the latter backwards, unbalancing the lure, thus making it flapping the wings to recover and exercising the attraction of passing birds. The cord 10 is no longer stressed and using the return spring 11, the pallet returns to its initial position, ready to be animated again.
The system according to the invention is particularly intended to attract passing birds using a live or possibly artificial lure.
