Abstract

The invention relates to an accessory composed of a magnifying glass and of its support, either magnetised or pivoted, which is applied to all types of equipment, Fig. 1 to Fig. 4. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for the visual beautification (improvement) of the areas to be treated. The device increases the effectiveness of equipment used by people for make-up and for beauty care.

Description

 The aim of the present invention is to improve eyesight in all the make-up or care to be carried out.

According to the invention, this mechanism comprises an articulated magnifying glass which can be pivoted and rotatable. This element is articulated, it allows pivoting by one of its ends on a support; this support can be magnetized or fixed by clamping, or blocking on the materials used
The magnifying glass can also slide through a retaining and guiding member secured to a support. When it is trapped in a makeup case or in any other use, with storage, it is folded or unfolded so to take out the said element outside of a case or case, or on the contrary to retract it inside the latter;
If the element is a magnifying glass, the mechanism according to the invention can be used for precision and improvement of sight by adjustable magnification on its support; the element thus retractable allows its integration into a case, if the element is an articulated magnifying glass, the mechanism according to the invention allows all fixings on its support, either magnetized or articulated on its support, it applies to any type of material such as lipstick sticks, blush, mascara, brushes, tweezers, in make-up, or on any material requiring greater precision of vision with a magnification providing ease of work, movement relative to a utensil. The hinged magnifier has a rotating and hinged attachment at one of its ends.

 Its support thus used so as to be able to pivot allows a varied use. If the element is a sliding magnifying glass inside or outside of a case and case, it will slide on a rail or guide and may be articulated, fold and store in its box.

 Under these conditions, the magnifying glasses on the joints and guides can be adjusted and slide in all directions, the flat element being tucked inside its case allows easy storage. Once lifted out of its case, a recoil or advance adjustment will allow the proper use of the magnifying glass compared to a mirror located behind it. The magnifying element articulated and fixed on materials by magnetanta, tightening or screwing will allow by its presence between the eye and the mirror a magnification and a precision thus requested.

 Other features and advantages of the invention will appear during the description which follows.

 In the accompanying drawings, given by way of nonlimiting examples, an embodiment of the invention has been presented.

 Figure 1A and 1B are a perspective view of the mechanism according to the invention shown (1A) the flattened element, elongated being returned inside the case or case.

 Figure 2 is a plan view similar to Figure 1, showing the position of the hinged magnifying glass when the flattened element is almost completely out of the sheath.

 Figure 3 is a plan view showing the flattened element simply removed from the case or case.

 In the form of articulation shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the targeted mechanism is provided for entering, leaving, and adjusting the magnifying glass in its case in its case or case.

 According to the invention, it comprises an articulated guide 1A and sliding which can be folded and unfolded; Figure 2, the magnifying glass is connected with pivoting and guidance by its base. Its base can thus slide through a retaining and guiding member 2A, integral with the case or case 1A, when the latter is folded or unfolded so as to take out the magnifying glass (2A) outside the case or case 1 or on the contrary to retract it inside of it.

 More specifically, the articulated sliding magnifying glass 1A comprises a sliding rail or guide, articulated, at its base allowing the adjustment thereof relative to the mirror and to the eye, in advance or in reverse. The storage in its case or case will be done in advance or retreat with articulation allowing the folding thereof.

 The articulated and pivoting magnifying glass 18 has at its base a complete axis of rotation connected to a support, the latter will be magnetized, or may either screw or tighten an instrument either for makeup or for any other utensil requiring greater sharpness, precision and magnification.

The mirror used for reflection should always be located behind the magnifying glass, in order: the eye, the utensil, the magnifying glass and the mirror.

 All of the articulations, supports and magnifying glass 1A will have a length less than that of the boxes or cases, this difference in length corresponding to the necessary length left to the eye to aim the mirror and on the other hand the storage of the articulated magnifying glass in its case or case.

 The 1B articulated magnifier plus articulations and support will not exceed 10 Centimeters by size and ease of use.

 According to another particular feature, the invention provides an articulated magnifier C4 fixed by magnet or suction cup on the mirrors, articulated branch pivotally mounted on the side of the magnifier will allow the adaptation of this on any mirror, either wall-mounted or portable.

The operation of the mechanism 1A and IB according to the invention is as follows
The magnifying glass 1A being completely retracted inside the case or the box as shown in FIG. 1 being folded back on itself, its storage becomes possible. To take out the magnifying glass 2 or grasp it, the magnifying glass is pivoted on its hinge in the direction of the arrow F, which releases it from the case or case in which it is stored.

 The magnifying glass 1B is oriented and tilted according to the needs of the eye and the utensil used. Its magnetic, tight, or screwed fixing allows it to be adapted to all materials and equipment, even different diameters.

 The clarity for the various make-ups and details required by the eye for certain magnification and precision jobs is obtained by these different solutions.

 The invention is not limited to the embodiment described and has few embodiments. The invention relates to an accessory composed of a magnifying glass and its support, either magnetic or articulated, applying to all types of equipment, Figure 1 to Figure 3.

 The device according to the invention is particularly intended for the visual improvement of the areas to be treated. The device increases the efficiency of the materials used for make-up and personal care.

(Figure 4). Thus, razors, scissors and other utensils requiring for their use a mirror could be arranged in any other way insofar as it effectively ensures the required magnification and precision.

 The magnification according to the invention can be provided for other uses than those described.

 The fixing, rotation or guide which can in the examples described be replaced by an element suitable for the intended application.

Claims (5)

 1) Magnification for various uses, in particular in make-up and precision and sharpening work, characterized in that it includes an articulated magnifying glass which can be folded and unfolded or pivoted. A guide and articulation element which can be used to pivot by one of its bases inside a case or case in which it is placed. The base of the magnifying glass can slide through a retaining and guiding member integral with the case or case when the latter is folded or unfolded, so as to take out the said element outside the case or case or on the contrary to be hidden inside of it. A magnifying glass with articulated and rotary fixing on its base allowing a better adjustment and an appropriate focal length, will be fixed in its support on a utensil, either by magnet, screw or appropriate tightening. A magnifying glass with arms and articulations will be fixed by suction cup or magnet on any fixed or portable mirror.  2) Magnification according to claim 1 characterized in that the hinged magnifying glass comprises a retaining and guiding member which can slide and pivot in order to facilitate better focusing, (mirrors, magnifying glasses, utensils, eye) and storage without clutter. The articulated magnifying glass, swiveling on its base attaching to the utensil used by its support being magnetized can be tightened or screwed. The magnifying glass articulated on arm with suction cup can be fixed on the mirrors.  3) Magnification according to claim 2 characterized in that the fasteners by magnets, tightening or screwing are fixed on utensils needing a contribution due sharpness of precision or magnification.  4) Magnification according to claim 3 characterized in that the articulations and adjustments front, rear and folding allowing a focal at the best point requested, as well as an ease of adapting the magnifiers to the desired utensils, either by magnet, suction cup, screw or Tightening.  5) Magnification according to one of claims 1 to 4 characterized in that it is provided with a guide member, folding, joints, rotation, suction cup, magnets. Tightening allowing different fixing according to the needs of the eye.
