Abstract

The invention relates to an apparatus for quickly sawing firewood in complete safety. It consists of a cradle 1 intended to receive the various pieces of wood to be cut up. The wood is held by two bandings 2 provided with a lever for locking clamping. The apparatus is fixed on one- or two-wheeled barrows using two bolts 3a, 3b. Two retractable stabilising legs 5 lift the wheels off the ground. It is also mounted on four legs for a fixed station. An "end of cut" piece of wood 4 fixed to the bottom of the cradle 1 prevents the motor saw from contacting the metal parts and falling.
