Abstract

The invention relates to a fastening device for a baby, by means of which the baby can be immobilised and accustomed to sleeping on its stomach. This device consists of a garment around the waist, resembling closed or openable pants or knickers 1 provided with one strap 2 or with two 3, allowing little elongation and being fixed thereto or removable therefrom, by means of which the baby 4 can be secured to the mattress 5 on its stomach. The device is particularly indicated for enabling the baby to rest on its stomach without allowing it to turn over. It has the merit of being simple and comfortable, and ensures that the baby can rest peacefully without constrictions. The device is particularly adviseable for reducing the risks of regurgitation and for preventing gastro-oesophageal reflux.
