Abstract

A tamper-evident closure for receptacles 11 consists of a hollow stopper 2 which can be screwed into the supply and sampling opening 1. The seal is ensured by a sealing ring 4. A safety cap 3 comprising a tab rupture 6 covers the stopper 2 and the neck 1 of the container. On the underside of the safety capsule 3 is provided an internal cylindrical collar 7 comprising stop projections 8 distributed over its circumference. The stop projections 8 engage, in order to lock them, behind an undercut 10 formed in the outer edge of the hollow stopper 2 when the safety cap is in place.

Description

The present invention relates to a tamperproof shutter for

  containers, consisting of a hollow cap that can be screwed into the supply and withdrawal opening, which, in the closed position, seals against the neck of the container by means of a sealing ring, the hollow plug and the neck of the container being covered with a capsule

of security.

  Tamperproof shutters of this type are used more particularly for drums or barrels with bung and serve to visualize an unauthorized opening of the cap to take the contents of the barrel. In general, shutters of this type consist of a screw cap and a safety ring destroyed during the first unscrewing of the cap, said cap and said security ring consisting of two separate units. Bridges for breaking are regularly distributed over the circumference of the safety ring; said bridges are repurposed simultaneously during the unscrewing of the cap. However, there may be too large a game so that the security ring expands sufficiently without

  the parts making up said ring actually detach.

  The connections between the connected parts can be tightened after closing the cap. As a result, the identification of an unauthorized opening of the container can not be carried out

for sure.

  In the hypothesis of heavy shutters, for example shutters barrel drums or drums of large volume, the bolt must be closed by a key under the effect of a couple of rotation. When the bung has a tapping, the bung

  is screwed in by compressing the sealing ring.

  This safety device of the bolt has various disadvantages, including the very high complexity of manufacture and the need for the safety cap to have a specific orientation relative to the key stops. As a result, the object of the present invention is to eliminate the aforementioned disadvantages. In this view, it is proposed that on the underside of the safety cap is provided an inner cylindrical collar having on its inner periphery stop protrusions which engage, to lock, behind an undercut provided in the surface of the outer edge of the hollow plug when the

  safety cap is set up.

  Opening the safety capsule means that it must be destroyed. Thus, an unauthorized opening is visible in any case. Closing, respectively the establishment of the safety cap, can be done in any rotational position, without it being necessary to take special precautions as to the position of the key stops. The safety capsule surrounds the neck with its outer edge, which prevents any possibility of introducing a

  tool for unauthorized lifting of said capsule.

  The invention will be explained in a purely indicative manner to

  the accompanying drawings by way of non-limiting example.

  Figure 1 shows a longitudinal section, according to AB of the

  Figure 2, a tamper-proof shutter according to the invention.

  In the neck (1) of the container (11) is screwed the bolt (2) consists of a hollow plug; in the closed position, the hollow plug (2) is in contact with the sealing ring (4) arranged in the neck so as to seal. In the hollow of the plug, open towards the outside, are disposed key stops not shown in the drawing.
