Abstract

Colour range tool for defining or choosing a pigment (dye) colour. A colour range composed of 4-10 elements (depending on the precision) giving 4-10 degrees of primary colour saturation. Each element comprises perforations which make it possible: . to compare the colour directly (precision improved by the use of a neutral grey mask), . to indicate by: - its position: the expression of the colour, - its form: . a colour at the maximum of its luminosity, . a colour toned down with its complementary colour, . a darkened colour, . to correspond with the verso, where the primary colour percentage is indicated: - through-reading of the markings of the colours and the various indications: quantitative ratio, name printed on a tube of such a company, etc. - a member for assembling the elements which makes it possible to join them or rotate them and allows the mask or the elements to be released.

Puis, l'élément étant sélectionné, le poser sur la surface colorée à identifier. Une perforation sur chaque plage, permet de faire coïncider la couleur de la gamme, la plus proche de la couleur étudiée. Claims

1) Tool consisting of a chromatic scale to determine by comparison the characteristics of a pigment color, characterized in that it is colored, giving 4 to 10 degrees of saturation (or intensity) of the primary colors.

Each element of range being constituted by a board including colored beaches on the front (Fig. 1 page 1/2) and printed beaches on the back (Fig. 2 page 1/2) which correspond to each other by means of a perforation (2 or 3 or 4 page 1/2).

Each element further comprising assembly perforations (5.6.7 page 1/2) one of which (7) ensures the articulation of the elements relative to each other by means of a bar (page 2/2) .

2) Tool according to claim 4, characterized in that the bar consists of a back (2) connected to the cover of the tool, a front portion, cut in half to form a flap (5) with clipping releasing a cover, and having the function of ensuring the rotation of the elements around the axis (O) on the flap (1), three drawbars (6) whose function is to ensure the opening of the flaps.
