Abstract

The livestock manure disposal system, especially for taking the manure from a stable or other livestock building to a storage site or spreader unit, consists of sucking out the manure from the site where it is produced and passing it through a shredder so that it can be loaded into a tanker vehicle to transport it to its storage site or for spreading. The manure is removed from the stable through one or more suction channels (3), connected to a fan (4) which is equipped with a shredder/homogeniser unit. The suction channel is embedded in a concrete floor and has shuttered apertures (2) to control the manure flow into the channel. The suction fan can be connected directly to a transporting tanker, which is equipped with a number of air outlets with filters. USE/ADVANTAGE - Improved stable cleaning and hygiene.
