- on extrait par dévissage le taraud logé dans le fût pour reconstituer le taraudage,
- on met en place dans le taraudage axial une tête de support de prothèse et on y fixe la prothèse.

- enfin la surface extérieure de l'implant, embase et fût, est lisse et de préférence revêtue d'une couche mince biocompatible selon les enseignements du brevet EP-A- 29 787.
