Abstract

The invention relates to a simple device permitting rapid cleaning of all soles of shoes, including the sides thereof. It consists of a sealed container 1 whose edges 2 are folded inwards, a plastic matting 3 with long bristles 4. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for school complexes, hospitals, caravanners, second homes, farms, shops, those hiring out boots for cross-country and alpine skiing, entrances to buildings.

DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a device which makes it possible to easily clean the soles of all shoes.

 The device according to the invention immerses a doormat with long plastic studs in a watertight container into which water is poured until the studs are covered with a thin film of water.

 The doormat must have a higher density than batten to not float and remain at the bottom of the tank, to avoid the feeling of emptiness that would feel the person wishing to clean his shoe soles.

 The pins must be 25 millimeters high and have a density of 15 to the square centimeter. They must be rigid and flexible enough and resistant to return to the vertical position after many wipings.

 According to a preferred embodiment, the waterproof water receptacle has its upper edges folded inwards over 20 millimeters so that the water cannot spray out. The folding angle will be 45 degrees for maximum efficiency. In addition, the fact of rubbing your shoe on the straw creates an effect of small wavelets, but which are returned by the inner edges of the tray and which promote cleaning.

 The height ratio between the top of the pins and the upper edge of the tank is half. The water should not exceed the lower edge of the fold of the tank so as to have no splash.

 The water receiving tank can be molded in one piece of latex, flexible plastic, so as not to create dangerous edges in the event of a person falling. The bin may be of different colors.

 The receptacle can be embedded in the ground, but not sealed so that it can be easily removed, emptied and cleaned.

 When the device is used, no dust is formed and all the dirt is retained in the water. This device is interesting for muddy and dusty shoes.

 For greasy soles, a detergent can be added to the water provided, if possible, that it is not foaming but biodegradable. For hospital environments, a bactericide can be added as well as an antifreeze in winter.

 Alternatively, the mat can be replaced with a grating.

This grating can be made of wood but must be stuck so as not to float or else it will be made of plastic or treated metal so as not to rust.

 The height of the grating will be 25 millimeters, the width between the partitions of the grating will be 20 millimeters. The water inside the vrà tank exceeds the grating by 1 cm for maximum efficiency.

 Figure 2 shows, in section, a variant of this device.

 The device shown in FIG. 1 comprises a container (1) having the dimensions of the order of 60 centimeters for the length, 34 centimeters for the width and 5 centimeters for the height.

The upper edges of the tank (2) are folded inwards.

In the bottom of the tank is placed a mat (3) with plastic pins (4) directed upwards.

In Figure 2, the doormat is replaced by a grating (5).

 The device according to the invention is particularly intended for cleaning the soles of shoes.

 10) Device for easily cleaning the soles of muddy, dusty or greasy shoes, including the sides thereof, characterized by a container with a sealed bottom (i) containing a plastic mat (3) with long pins (4).  2) The device according to claim 1 characterized in that the upper edges of the tank (2) are folded inside to form an angle of 45 degrees, over a length of 20 millimeters.  3o) The device according to claim 1 comprises a mat (3) immersed in water with or without the addition of a detergent, bactericide or antifreeze product.
