Abstract

The invention relates to a metal container structure comprising panels provided with opposed edges 18, 20; means intended to assemble the adjacent panels in an edge-to-edge relationship and which comprise a device forming a substantially L-shaped flange 2 having a proximal arm 22, 24 and a transverse arm 26, 28, the devices forming flanges located on adjacent panels having their transverse arms disposed in an opposed relationship and being offset in opposite directions with respect to the opposed edges; and means of fixing 30 to secure the opposed transverse arms and to maintain the opposed edges of adjacent panels in a spaced relationship in view of an assembly of the opposed edges by welding.
