Abstract

The subject of the invention is a method for signalling and for optical guiding by signalling panels. The signalling panel 1 acts as optical guides by using, on its outer face, substances which are sensitive to photofluorescence and phosphorescence, the said panel 1 being excited by WOOD lamps 2; the photofluorescent substances incorporated on the outer faces of the illuminated faces of the panels 1 are generally organic substances of the aromatic series. The said panels 1 apply especially to signalling and guidance in tunnels.
