Abstract

The invention relates to a railway carriage body which includes at least one passenger-compartment level, of the hybrid (composite)-structure type, including a roof 2, at least one floor 3, 4, faces 1 consisting of steel transverse uprights carrying steel longitudinal members and a covering, characterised in that it includes at least one floor 3, 4 composed of extruded aluminium plates welded to rigid-fixing devices 5 consisting of at least one floor support integral with one face of the body and of a co-extruded aluminium/steel interface, the aluminium sides of which are welded to a floor and the steel sides of which are welded to the floor support. Application: construction of rolling stock (vehicles running on rails), especially railway vehicles.

Description
