Abstract

The lamp holder includes a socket (1) made from moulded plastic material, with a base (4) which may be fitted into a rectangular aperture (2) in a support plate (3). The base extends at right angles to the axis of the lamp holder, and includes a rigid tab (5) which engages one edge of the aperture. An elastic arm (7) with a hook on the end (6) engages the opposite side of the aperture, with a snap fitting. The base, lamp holder and arm are moulded in a single piece. ADVANTAGE - Simple mfr. process produces rigidly support lamp holder.
