Abstract

The invention relates to a device for rapidly plugging openings allowing access to the filters in gas pipes. It is made up of a plate 2 coming into abutment on a shoulder inside the flange to be welded 1 where a slope at 45 DEG has also been made to house the sealing gasket 11. Three keys 6 integral with the plate 2 serve to guide three sectors 3. These each have an oblique groove in which there slides a finger 5 integral with a lock bolt 4. By turning the handle 10, the three sectors are simultaneously moved apart and become wedged at the end of their travel onto a tapered machining in the component 1. The pin 9 limits the travel of the lock bolt. In the closed position, a stop-piece 8 as well as a bleed screw 7 prevent the assembly under pressure from being dismantled.
