Abstract

Lighting apparatus of the type comprising a tubular pole, characterised in that the lower part of the pole 1 is engaged in a frustoconical base 3 resting on a foot. The base 3 has a central channel whose diameter is much greater than that of the tube forming the pole 1. The channel is blocked, at its lower part, by a plate 8 having an end-piece 9 on which the tubular pole may engage. The pole comprises removable sleeves 11, having different heights and diameters, the said sleeves preferably being made from concrete.

Description

 The present invention relates to an external lighting device of the type of those constituted by a tubular mast having a lighting source at its upper part.

 These masts generally of low height, are very sensitive to shocks (motor vehicles), and chemical aggressions (urine of dogs).

 In addition, their appearance is very uniform and many local authorities want to implement lighting devices that harmonize with the environment.

 The lighting apparatus, which is the subject of the present invention, is of the type of those comprising a tubular mast and it is remarkable that the mast is held in a concrete base of truncated shape placed on a base made of desired location.

The apparatus is constituted by a cylindrical mast 1 having at its upper part a globe 2, or the like, enclosing the usual spring source.

 According to the invention, the lower part of the mast is engaged in a base 3, frustoconical, made of concrete. The base 3 is placed on a base 4 made to the right of the point of implantation.

 The base 3, which has a height of the order of several tens of centimeters, effectively protects the base of the mast, either against shocks, or against chemical attack.

 According to another characteristic of the invention, sleeves 11, made of concrete, and which may have different diameters and heights, are stacked along the mast. In this way it is possible very easily to realize lighting devices presenting very different aspects. different, and this, while using standard essential organs (mast, base, source).
