Abstract

The plant is designed to produce compositions by mixing basic products involved in variable proportions case-by-case, especially measured quantities of components for paints of diverse shades. It is characterised in that it comprises units, each comprising a display terminal 20, a measuring instrument 22 for the basic products and a computer 21, these three sets of apparatus being connected to a casing 23 containing units which are capable of selectively establishing different circuits between these pieces of apparatus and which must be controlled by a program of the computer 21. The measuring instrument is advantageously a balance 22 provided with a device 34 displaying weights of the weighed quantities.
