Abstract

The invention relates to a device for stirring and mixing aviculture litter straw allowing good yield and holding of the litter. It consists of a chassis 1 rolling on two independent wheels 24 and supporting an electric motor 26 connected to the chassis by the elements 6. The rotation of the motor drives a toothed comb 14 which, under the effect of a rotational movement, allows the litter to be renewed by breaking its crust and lifting fresh straw to the surface. The hood 12 provides protection from flying crust and from the teeth 14. A handle 22 connected to the chassis by a pole 21 allows good manoeuvrability of the machine. The device according to the invention is in particular intended for maintaining and renewing aviculture litter.
