Abstract

Process for the manufacture of floating soaps having a modified chemical density. It is characterised first by the mixing of so-called household soap paste with a predetermined amount of potassium laurate and then by heating the mixture to a relatively high temperature close to boiling, and finally by a kneading in the open air which can be, if need be, followed by a vacuum action. It is intended to make it possible for a household soap to stay on the surface when the user lets go of it after use or during use.
