Abstract

The invention relates to a system enabling any plane internal door to be padded in order to change the aesthetics thereof and to improve the thermal and (or) acoustic insulation thereof. It is constituted by the combination of a fastening preframe 2, small reinforcing plates 1, a decorative trim (moulding) 6 and optionally a decorative corner piece 7. The padding is composed of an optional acoustic or (and) thermal insulation 3, a foam panel 4 and a width of covering 5 set into relief by means of a covered upholstery nail, screw, press stud (pressure) or button 8. The system applies in particular to all the faces of plane-door panels to be painted or varnished.

Description

 The present invention relates to a device for padding one or both sides of a door leaf of a flat interior communication door to be painted or varnished.

Communication between rooms in a dwelling or any other room, for office use for example. is done in most cases by flat interior doors composed of a honeycomb core and two sides on a thin panel or to paint or varnish
In recent years, these doors have been replaced by other more decorative models which increasingly meet the need for comfort and personalization, however, the doors already in place do not have decorative upholstery processes.
The device according to the invention overcomes this drawback.

 It in fact comprises a reinforcement of the door panel by wooden reinforcement plates positioned at regular intervals and of a stapling frame, delimiting the interested part. A first effective insulating material is unwound in the space of the stapling pre-frame which comes to be embedded between the preceding reinforcement plates, followed by a foam panel and by the covering strip intended to remain visible.

 This covering strip is stapled to the stapling frame after a slight tension and cut to the final dimensions of the upholstery. A decorative molding then hides the staples and bad cuts of the coating. This decorative molding fixed by nailing will possibly be superimposed with an ornamental piece at each of the Junctions.

 The shapely appearance is obtained by driving upholstery nails, screws, presses or dressed buttons.

The device shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 includes a stapling pre-frame (2) fixed to the face of the door by nailing or gluing, as well as reinforcement plates in multilayer wood or plywood (1) comprising an adhesive foam on the underside. double-sided sticking of the reinforcement plate (1) intended to ensure a good behavior of the upholstery nails, screws, pressures, or dressed buttons (8). These reinforcement plates (i) are positioned according to a precise algorithm varying with the number of upholstery nails, screws, pressures, dressed buttons (8) to be placed and the width and height of the door.

A possible thermal or sound insulator (3) is unwound in the space delimited by the stapling frame (2) fitting between the reinforcement plates (1). This possible insulator (3) is covered with a foam panel (4) intended to form the relief, itself covered with the covering strip (5) maintained after a slight tension by simple stapling on the stapling frame (2) .

 Depending on the nature of the covering strip (5), the staples will be spaced approximately 3 to 5 cm apart. The covering strip (5 of flexible material is cut after stapling using a razor blade for example. The staples holding the covering strip t5) are masked to finish, by a decorative molding (6) fixed by nailing on the stapling frame (2) and the junctions of which may be masked by the decorative pieces (7).

The relief of the upholstery is obtained by placing upholstery nails, screws, presses, dressed buttons (8) in the reinforcement plates (1) which can be identified by simple trial and error.
The device according to the invention is particularly intended for decorating an existing flat interior door and for manufacturing a padded door block.

 1) Device for padding the flat interior doors, characterized in that it includes reinforcing plates (i) of the walls of the flat doors and a stapling pre-frame (2) for fixing delimiting the possible insulation part (3) and upholstery composed of a foam panel (4) and a covering strip (5) of flexible material, the edges of which are covered with a decorative molding (6) comprising possible decorative pieces (7) and d '' a relief created by upholstery nails, screws, presses or dressed buttons.
