Abstract

The invention relates to a device making it possible to block up perforations which have arisen on decayed exhaust pipes and exhaust silencers, so as to eliminate leaks and noises. It is made up by a sheet of sheet metal 1 or plastic covered in its central part with a layer of insulating material 2 which is directly applied to the perforation, the whole thing being held by clamping with the aid of collars 5. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for repairing exhaust silencers and exhaust pipes of any motorised vehicle or machine.
