Abstract

Sail or cable winder-unwinder which is remotely controlled manually or hydraulically without preliminary operation for passing from one mode of actuation to the other. This is possible because of its construction by a stacking arrangement along the axis, and in order, of the following functions; a manual control by rope 3 followed by a hydromechanical clutch 4 which selectively brings into relationship, by means of a translational movement along a splined shaft 2, the rope 3 sheave or a hydraulic motor 5 by means of a control circuit 6. The whole unit, through which passes a bore, is enclosed in a supporting case 1.
